What the app does
It connects Ell's Passport's own Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console properties to a private local workflow. It is used by the brand operator only and is not offered to members of the public.
Google permissions and purpose
- Google Analytics reporting: reads traffic and engagement reports so Ell's Passport can understand which travel content helps readers.
- Google Analytics configuration: reads and, only when intentionally requested by the operator, updates supported measurement configuration.
- Search Console reporting: reads search queries, page performance, sitemap records and URL Inspection results.
- Search Console management: submits or refreshes the Ell's Passport sitemap when the operator intentionally runs that action.
The app does not access visitors' Gmail, Drive, contacts, payment information or private Google Account content. Google API data is not sold, used for advertising or shared with data brokers.
Who can use it
The integration is configured for Ellen Barron's authorised Google account and Ell's Passport properties. Access requires a Google OAuth approval and can be revoked through Google Account settings.
Data handling
OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored locally in an access-restricted file, outside the public website and public source repository. Read the app privacy notice for the complete explanation of how Google API information is handled.
